The Canadian Toy Association, logistics supplier Thomson Terminals, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have partnered to run a national toy collection and distribution charity called "Toys for the North". This initiative has set a new record by donating toys worth over $470,000 to thousands of families in need living in Canada's remote regions. The donations this year from toy suppliers such as Do-gree Generations and individuals have grown by 170% compared to last year and have increased by 840% since 2019.
